Pretty good week! Everything I am doing is helping me train for endurance. Feels like things are coming along though I would have liked to have done more but I think the workouts I did were good. I’m exhausted that is for sure. I really want to add in at least one more day of walking during the week so that I am totally prepared to walk the 1/2 marathon. My calves, hips and everything else is in quite a bit of pain so hopefully by the time the race I’m used to all the walking and can make it through without a whole ton of issues. Anyway, here is what I did this week.
Monday-
*Spin class
Time: 1 hr
Tuesday-
*Personal training
Time: 30 min.
*Pilates
Time: 1 hr
Wednesday-
*Spin class
Time: 1 hr
Thursday- Day off
Friday-
*Personal training
Time: 30 min.
*Treadmill
Time: 30 min.
I did run/walk today and felt pretty good. I’m not giving up on running but I still think we’ll be walking the 1/2 marathon. It’s actually hurting worse to do the fast walking so who knows what will come of everything!
Saturday-
*Walk outside
Time: 1 hr 13 min.
Miles: 3.98
Sunday-
*Spin class
Time: 1 hr
*Walk outside
Time: 26:40 min.
Miles: 1.31
We walked just over a mile today as it seemed like it was going to start raining. Should have kept walking but came home and napped. Sure needed it!
