The countdown has begun to the half marathon! Here are my workouts for the week.

Monday-

*Personal training (core)
Time: 30 min.

*Spin class
Time: 1 hr

Tuesday-Saturday- nada, zilch, nothing yikes!

We did however have a great time with my family for Thanksgiving in Indiana. This was my first major holiday as a ‘vegetarian’.  I didn’t even have fish so it was a true vegetarian meal for me.  I am going to do more research over the next year to see what neat vegetarian and/or vegan items I can add to the family dinner because there wasn’t a ton of variety for me when it came to protein.  I might even be brave enough to try Tofurkey ha ha Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

Sunday-

*Weights (upper body)
Time: 15 min.

*Spin class
Time: 1 hr

*Walk outside
Time: 22 min.
Miles: 1.23

As you can see from my workouts or lack thereof we are winding down getting ready for the Reggae Marathon half marathon in Jamaica.  I can’t believe it’s coming up on Saturday.  It’s been quite the crazy 10 months prepping for it.  I am excited about it though and our goal is to just finish it.  I would like to finish at 4 hours but I’ll just be happy to finish and get my medal. Would appreciate good thoughts for us next Sat. and I’ll be posting all about it or at least a mini update over the weekend.
